Google Nexus 6 phablet manufactured by Motorola with the latest Android Lollipop OS hit US markets a few days ago and was sold out hours later. Now, the tech giant is all set to launch its flagship in the Indian market, and Flipkart has already listed the Nexus 6 on its site as ‘coming soon’ indicating that the launch is very near.
There is no word on the price details and whether Flipkart will be the sole private distributor of Nexus 6 besides Google Play Store. Flipkart is the exclusive retailer for Motorola smartphones.
The Nexus 6 features a 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor paired with 3GB RAM and Adreno 420 GPU. The phone is available in 32GB or 64GB storage options. The device has a 13-megapixel camera with optical image stabilisation, and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. You can see how the camera fares by looking at these first photos taken from the Nexus 6.
The Nexus 6 packs a 3,220mAh battery and is available in midnight blue and cloud white variants. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC. The biggest attraction of the phone is that it runs on Google latest Android Lolipop 5.0. The Nexus 6 also includes Motorola’s Turbo Chargers, which can charge the phone back up to six hours worth of battery life in 15 minutes.
